The Society, which fosters strong links between the churches, is named after the 8th century missionary from Northumbria who became the first Bishop of Utrecht. Anglican and Old Catholic Churches of the Union of Utrecht have been in full communion with each other under the terms of the Bonn Agreement since 1931 . Anglicans are always made most welcome in OC churches.
